I’m nobody, really, a former actor from Chicago and New York trying to find something good to do with the rest of my life.  I suppose you could call me a failed actor, but that wouldn’t be kind, so why do it?  I’m currently living in the south suburbs of Chicago as the caregiver for my elderly father who’s suffered a number of unfortunate health declines recently.

I’m a reformed liberal turned right-wing extremist — a proud member of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.  My heart still bleeds, but my head knows that a bleeding heart should never be allowed to dictate public policy.

I’m a conservative, pro-life reformed lapsed Catholic, which is to say that I was born a Catholic, lapsed, and returned to the Church again.  I belonged to two Churches in Brooklyn, singing at one, reading at the other, worshiping at both.   I hope someday to be able to return to Brooklyn.

I’m a deeply flawed Christian, and the Religious Left annoys me to no end.  Catholic support for Barack Obama in particular makes me grind my teeth.

I don’t give a damn about global warming, but I recycle vigilantly, not because I believe in it or think it matters but because…well… I like organizing things and putting things in their place.  I have no interest in forcing anyone else to recycle.  It’s stupid.

What else? Hmm. I thrive on podcasts of my favorite talk radio programs as well as amateur videogame and short-fiction related podcasts. I spend a LOT of time on Twitter.

I’m told by many that I have a really nice voice, and it’s true.  I do.  I just haven’t found any way to monetize it yet.   Ah, well.
