Would You Marry Someone This Condescending?

 

I was going to call this post “Is She Retarded?” but then I realized that her reaction isn’t all that bad.  All she really does is get startled by thunder and lightening.  That could happen to anyone.  Hell, even I still get the occasional heebie-jeebies from a thunderstorm.  What can I say?  This stuff’s primal.

But why doesn’t he seem to understand that?  What’s with the “I’m right here” dopeyness?  Does he really think she’ll need that kind of reassurance two seconds later?

Would she?  If so, is she retarded?  (Whoops!  Look at that; it turns out it would have been an appropriate title anyway.  Who knew?)
